Our organization is made up of true justice fighters. Our executive director, Lee Black, is a long time community activist whose understanding of the racial injustices is unmatched. 
Under his leadership, we are committed to uncovering any prosecutorial or attorney misconduct leading to wrongful convictions.  
We approach wrongful convictions unafraid and unapologetic. We do not hesitate to ruffle the feathers of prosecutors and judges. We  know that they feel invincible because they cannot be sued even when there is ill-will and vendetta that is the root cause of their conduct. 

How we work

1. Intake Form

Our intake form seeks preliminary information about dates of conviction, direct appeal and dates when postconviction motions were filed, if any. We use this form to initiate our review of the case

2. Review of Court Docket

We review every piece of paper filed in the case including charging document, discovery and all pre and post trial motions. We also dig into every piece of evidence presented and evidence that was not presented

3. Investigating

We work up the case as if it were being done for the first time. Almost always, our findings reveal that the case was never worked up the way it was supposed to be.  We meet with witnesses, obtain affidavits, visit the evidence room, and then put together a comprehensive strategy with  our hand-picked attorneys. 

4. Getting Back into Court

Our strategy is bullet proof and so much so that the presiding judge is left with no choice but to grant a hearing to hear the evidence tha was never heard before due to either prosecutorial foul play or defense attorney incompetence.
